Arxada in Visp offers an exciting apprenticeship as an Electrician EFZ starting 01.08.2026/2027. 

As an Electrician, you are responsible for the creation and maintenance of electrical installations, building automation, and communication systems. You assemble control cabinets, program small controllers, and building automation systems. During your training, you learn to test and commission electrical systems. In maintenance, you troubleshoot faults and repair devices.

The training lasts four years. Electricians complete their practical training in the training company, supplemented by inter-company courses. Vocational school takes about one day per week on average. In the first half of the apprenticeship, a broad foundation of knowledge and skills is laid, focusing on manufacturing technology, switching and measuring technology, and microcomputer technology. In the second half of the training, the specialized training takes place in operational fields. In this phase, trainees deepen their knowledge and skills through practical learning on production orders and projects.
