About LGT Venture Philanthropy
LGT Venture Philanthropy (LGT VP) is an independent non-profit foundation established in 2007 by the LGT Group Foundation and shares the vision of the Princely Family of Liechtenstein to make a sustainable, positive contribution to people and the environment. Headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, with regional offices in Kenya and India, our mission is to improve the quality of life for disadvantaged people, contribute to healthy ecosystems, and build resilient, inclusive, and prosperous communities. LGT VP works within long-term partnerships with locally rooted organizations that provide effective, scalable solutions in health, education, and the environment.
At the heart of LGT VP's current strategy are three solution portfolios, each supported by LGT VP and a coalition of donors: Ahadi (community-led conservation in East Africa), SIRA (early childhood development in India), and Blue Oceans (global marine and coastal protection). These bring together project sponsors, donors, and policymakers to tackle complex social and ecological challenges on a large scale. Since 2007, LGT VP has supported 83 organizations and enabled 29 million people to access better quality services by 2024. In 2027, LGT VP will celebrate its 20th anniversary – a milestone of acceleration and ambitious growth and an exciting time to join the team.
