Senior Cloud Engineer (m/f/d)
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the Microsoft Azure platform and continuously develop architecture, landing zone, network, security & scalability
Automate infrastructure & operational processes using Terraform, PowerShell, Microsoft Graph & Azure CLI and integrate infrastructure as code into CI/CD
Develop identity & access management with Microsoft Entra ID and implement zero-trust & security principles
Operate Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) together with software engineering and further develop the basis for cloud-native applications
Ensure monitoring, logging, backup & recovery, systematically analyse technical problems and further develop Microsoft Intune for client & device management
Evaluate new technologies & cloud services, prepare architectural decisions and take on technical leadership for suitable projects
Qualifications:
Tertiary degree in computer science or related field (FH, university, ETH) or comparable further education and around 8 years of professional experience in cloud, infrastructure or platform engineering
Several years of experience in building, operating & further developing productive Microsoft Azure environments and a comprehensive understanding of network, compute, storage, identity, security & governance
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, IAM, cloud security, Terraform & PowerShell
Practical experience with containers & Kubernetes and ideally AKS, Azure Container Registry & CI/CD with Azure DevOps
Strong analytical & solution-oriented skills, high personal responsibility and enjoyment in collaborating with IT teams & external partners
Very good German and English skills both written and spoken
