About the job
We are Deutsche Bahn. Millions of passengers travel with us every day and we transport enormous quantities of goods – across Germany and neighbouring Europe. Too often, we also disappoint. That is why we are working intensively on a better railway. For that, we need power and you! We are one of the most diverse employers in Germany. Every year, we look for around 5,000 trainees in 50 different training professions who want to make the railway a little better with us day by day. Join in: We offer you attractive benefits, a fixed contact person, and a great team by your side. And after successful training, you have excellent chances of being taken on!
This is what awaits you in your training:

- You will learn when to press the right buttons and switches to, for example, change signals (traffic lights) or points (transitions for track changes)
- You will often be in contact with other employees in train traffic control and control centres as well as with train drivers
- You are an important part of our team and enable our passengers to have a safe and punctual journey with our trains
Your profile:
- You have (soon) successfully completed school and your school leaving certificate is recognised in Germany
- Your German language skills correspond to at least the B2 level
- You remain calm and keep an overview even in demanding situations
- You like to take responsibility and work with concentration
- You are characterised by teamwork and reliability
