Tasks

About the job

We offer a teaching assignment for a full school year in the subjects German, Mathematics, and General Education.

Start: by arrangement in October/November 2025

Course location: Zurich

Course times: Monday to Friday from 08:50 AM to 12:30 PM

Course description:

You will train and support young refugees (16-25 years old) during a school year and prepare them for the regular structures of secondary level II.
You will teach the subjects German, Mathematics, General Education, and impart PC skills.
You will promote and teach learning strategies and techniques.

Number of participants: max. 16 persons

Requirements for the teacher:

Training as a teacher at primary or secondary level I/II or equivalent training
Additional qualification in the area of German as a second language (DaZ) (fide, EUROLTA or equivalent)
Knowledge and experience in competence-oriented and adult-appropriate didactics
High social skills
