Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)

A challenging DevOps position awaits you in an environment where cloud engineering, automation, and security closely interact. You design central platform and deployment processes, develop modern operational standards, and ensure high quality and stability of digital services.
In doing so, you take on a formative role in building CI/CD and IaC structures and bring your experience in observability, security, and modern web architecture. Additionally, you support teams and external partners in technical implementation and establish sustainable working methods.
Responsibilities:
Design and expansion of a cross-platform CI/CD landscape based on Azure DevOps
Standardisation of infrastructure-as-code with Terraform as well as automation of deployment and operational processes
Further development of security and secret management processes as well as coordination of measures from vulnerability scans
Building a central observability platform with logging, monitoring, and SLI/SLO as well as integration of analytics solutions
Evaluation and prioritisation of technical requirements, development of solution concepts, and support of architectural topics
Management of releases, changes, and technical interfaces with internal and external stakeholders
Support and coaching of teams in building DevOps, CI/CD, and IaC competencies
Qualifications:
Several years of professional experience in DevOps or platform engineering in complex production environments
Very good knowledge of Azure DevOps or comparable CI/CD platforms as well as Terraform
Experience with Kubernetes, container technologies, and central secret management
Knowledge of modern experience technologies, CMS/headless solutions, and web analytics
Understanding of WAF, network security, vulnerability management, and regulatory requirements
Strong independence, structured thinking, and ability to translate complex requirements into practical solutions
Strong communication skills in dealing with different stakeholders
Fluent German language skills
