About the job
Your new role
You are responsible for the daily freshly prepared, balanced and child-appropriate catering in the St. Fiden daycare. This includes planning the menu as well as purchasing food for breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack while adhering to the specified budget. You prepare meals daily for up to 120 children, placing great emphasis on quality, hygiene and careful handling of the food. In addition, you independently take care of washing the dishes and general cleaning tasks. Occasionally, you involve the children in age-appropriate tasks.
This position is suitable for you if you
- see healthy nutrition as your passion and are willing to cook according to the Fourchette verte – Ama terra quality label.
- have a federal diploma of competence as a cook or have several years of practical experience in this field.
- are motivated to work in a lively environment and enjoy working with children.
- are communicative and happy to support the educational team with your expertise in healthy nutrition for the children in care.
