What you'll be doing here
- Research and knowledge transfer in the fields of digital innovation and transformation, particularly in the context of AI, through research, publications, and practical projects
- Independent acquisition and management of third-party-funded research and service projects in the field of digitalization - from idea development to successful implementation
- Designing innovative teaching and continuing education programs in the field of digitalization, with a focus on future-oriented, practical formats
- Strategic co-design and positioning of the Institute for Digital Technology Management through development of new topics, network building, and institutional cooperations
* The title of Professor may be used if the requirements set out in the BFH Staff Regulations are met.
What you'll bring with you
- PhD/Doctorate in information systems, business administration, informatics, or a comparable field relevant to digitalization and technology management
- Proven experience in successfully acquiring and managing research projects, combined with a network of relevant stakeholders from academia, business, and society
- Teaching experience at universities, ideally with a focus on digitalization or related topics, as well as a willingness to develop innovative teaching formats
- Professional experience or experience in practical research desirable
- Excellent communication skills in German and English, both written and oral, with the ability to prepare complex content in a way that is appropriate for the target audience; additional foreign languages are an advantage
