Our purchasing service offers a one-year paid internship.
You will support our construction sites located in the canton of Vaud; remote work is hardly feasible.
We are looking for a junior profile who wishes to develop in the field of purchasing.
A permanent commitment is likely at the end of the internship.
Tasks:
- Support for the purchase of supplies
- Prepare consultations for the purchase of materials (concrete, steel, formwork, geotextiles, etc.).
- Compare technical and economic offers.
- Place orders and monitor delivery times.
- Manage simple disputes (delays, delivery errors).
- Support for subcontracting purchases
- Prepare consultations for site services (earthworks, waterproofing, reinforcement, etc.).
- Format comparison tables and monitor technical validations.
- Participate in the drafting or updating of subcontracting contracts.
- Follow the required administrative documents (insurances, subcontracting declarations, etc.).
- Sourcing & managing supplier/subcontractor relationships
- Search for new local or specialized partners.
- Update databases of qualified suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitor purchasing indicators (costs, deadlines, quality).
You bring:
A higher education in the field of construction with initial experience (internship or apprenticeship) on site.
Very good knowledge of materials and substances.
A strong desire to develop in the field of purchasing in construction.
Good interpersonal skills and adaptability to interlocutors.
Good negotiation skills
Proven strong organizational skills
Very good writing skills in French. A very good level of English or German is an important asset.
