The Private University in the Principality of Liechtenstein (UFL) is seeking a committed individual for the position of Assistant to the Dean of the Medical-Scientific Faculty, starting 1 September 2026 or by agreement. Your tasks:
- Supporting the Dean in all administrative and organisational matters
- Organising, preparing, and recording official meetings and appointments (Scientific Advisory Board, regular meetings, Faculty Day)
- Assisting in the preparation and coordination of agendas and meeting documents
- Supporting the identification of suitable funding institutions as well as communication and application for third-party funds (especially scholarships, financing of conferences and official events)
- Maintaining, reviewing, and updating the websites of the Dean's office and the institute
- Coordinating and communicating with the Scientific Advisory Board
- Organising and preparing scientific conferences and events
What your working day looks like:
You ensure that all organisational processes in the Dean's office run reliably and professionally. As the central contact person, you work closely with the university's administrative departments, coordinate interfaces, and ensure structured reporting as well as clear documentation and filing organisation. You keep an overview even with diverse tasks and contribute significantly to the successful operation of the Dean's office through your structured way of working.
What you bring with you:
- Completed university degree
- Several years of professional experience in an assistant role, ideally in a university or scientific environment
- Very good knowledge of common MS Office applications
- Experience in a demanding organisational environment with diverse internal and external stakeholders
- Very good German skills, both spoken and written
- Very good English skills, both spoken and written
- Strong networking and social skills as well as high cooperation and communication abilities, initiative
