The Blue Cross Bern-Solothurn-Freiburg is a specialized organization for addiction issues with the areas of work prevention + health promotion, counseling + therapy as well as integration + businesses. Around 90 employees and about 260 volunteers at 13 locations implement the diverse services, which are co-financed by service contracts from the cantons as well as donations and contributions from institutions and private individuals.

The networking with the Swiss and International Blue Cross supports innovation and quality assurance. The Blue Cross is politically and denominationally independent.

Area of activity:

• Counseling and support of people with an addiction in social and professional integration places (internal and external workplaces)
• Case management and key worker duties for clients
• Interdisciplinary cooperation with various specialist offices
• Support in managing the goods warehouse, presentation and maintenance of the goods display, and cash management
• Administrative and organizational tasks
• Support of volunteers

Requirements profile:

• Training in social pedagogy, social work or comparable education
• Innovative personality accustomed to independent work
• Professional experience in the addiction field
• Enjoyment in cooperating with and supporting people in difficult life situations
• Willingness to work Saturdays
• Organizational and administrative skills, good PC user knowledge
• Identification with our mission statement and Christian core values
