We are looking for a technically skilled, curious individual who is ready to take the next step – moving out of pure engineering into a role where technology meets customer proximity. Whether you come from plastics technology, toolmaking, product development, or a related field: with us, you have the chance to apply your technical expertise in customer contact while simultaneously learning the craft of sales from the ground up. Your tasks
In this role, you combine technical consulting with active sales – roughly equal parts technical and sales.
Technical tasks (approx. 50%)
Technical consulting and support of customers in product development and material selection
Application consulting: developing, presenting, and specifying plastic solutions
Support with technical questions on-site at the customer (at the machine, in the development process)
Close collaboration with product development and engineering teams on the customer side
Accompanying projects from the idea to series maturity
Sales tasks (approx. 50%)
Managing existing customers (plastic processors, OEMs, engineering companies)
Active acquisition of new customers in Switzerland (focus on Eastern Switzerland)
Developing new business opportunities through project identification
Market and competitor observationBuilding long-term customer relationships
Your profile
What you bring
Technical training or degree in plastics technology, toolmaking, product development, materials engineering, or a comparable field
Initial professional experience in the plastics industry or production-related environment – experience with projects or product developments is a plus
Commercial training, basic commercial knowledge, or genuine willingness as a career changer to learn sales
Fluent German and English skills
French or Italian skills are an advantage
Open, communicative personality with enjoyment of customer contact
Initiative, curiosity, and willingness to learn
Team spirit and hands-on mentality
Willingness to travel (approx. 3 days/week, focus on Eastern Switzerland)
