Technical Pre-Sales Consultant – Cybersecurity
- 17 September 2026
- 100%
- Permanent position

About the job
To successfully implement security audits, a clear understanding of the customer situation, a precise technical classification of the requirements, and realistic planning are necessary. As a Technical Pre-Sales Consultant, you are responsible for the scoping and planning of penetration tests and other cybersecurity projects.
We are looking for a committed, independent, and organised individual who, as part of the sales team, creates the link between customers, sales, and our technical penetration testing business unit.
What to expect
As a Technical Pre-Sales Consultant, you accompany the sales process for penetration tests and other cybersecurity projects. You clarify customer needs, translate technical requirements into viable project proposals, and ensure coordinated deployment and resource planning.
In close collaboration with sales and our cybersecurity experts, this particularly includes:
- Conducting technical clarifications, scoping discussions, and project preparations with customers
- Analysing the initial situation, framework conditions, and objectives for cybersecurity audits and penetration tests
- Developing project proposals including scope, assumptions, delimitations, and effort estimation – for complex projects together with specialists
- Documenting relevant information as a basis for offer preparation, planning, and service delivery
- Planning and coordinating project deployments considering availability, skills, durations, priorities, and customer requirements
- Ongoing coordination with project managers, technical consultants, sales, and operations for realistic and efficient deployment planning
What we offer you
- A motivated and highly qualified team that supports each other, shares knowledge, and strives for excellence together
- Interesting and challenging projects and clients in a very exciting environment
- An environment where leadership, initiative, and entrepreneurial thinking are valued and encouraged
- A culture of informal address where mutual respect, tolerance, and appreciation are lived, and feedback is an important part of our daily routine. We also count on your constructive criticism
- Modern and spacious offices in Zurich, 2 minutes from Saalsporthalle and Sihlcity stations, as well as the possibility for home office
Additionally, we offer numerous other benefits such as a generous training budget, participation in health-promoting measures, a smartphone with a business flat-rate subscription, sit-stand desks, team events, an extra day off on your birthday, and much more.
What you bring
- Several years of professional experience in computer science, IT security, or cybersecurity, ideally in a service environment
- Good technical understanding in the field of cybersecurity and the ability to professionally classify customer requirements
- Enjoyment of pre-sales, customer contact, and clear communication of technical matters
- Structured, analytical working style with organisational skills and the ability to combine technical, commercial, and planning aspects
- Fluent German and good English skills, both spoken and written
- Impeccable reputation (proof by current criminal record and debt enforcement register extract)
Any professional/technical gaps will be closed together within the framework of our training programme.
