HR Assistant 60-100 %
- 10 September 2026
- 60 – 100%
- Permanent position, Temporary

About the job
You keep HR running - even when things need to be done quickly.
Preparing entries, recording changes, clarifying absences, answering urgent enquiries – and in between, of course, the daily business continues.
That’s exactly why we are looking for an HR personality for our client in the Bern region who works in an organised manner, likes to get stuck in, and keeps a cool head even when several topics have priority at the same time.
You won’t find a rigid administrative job here, but a versatile HR operations role with responsibility, various contacts, and multiple system environments.
YOUR DAILY WORK IN HR
- You manage personnel administration from entry to exit
- You record and process changes and keep personnel master data up to date
- You take care of sickness and accident absences
- You contribute to the monthly time recording closings
- You coordinate and process training requests
- You create, publish, and maintain job advertisements in applicant management
- You process unsolicited applications as well as incoming candidate dossiers
- You answer HR enquiries by phone and email
- You work with various internal contacts and ensure mutual representation together with the team
- You recognise where support is needed and lend a hand there without fuss
THIS SUITS YOU
You have a commercial basic education and ideally further training as an HR assistant, personnel clerk, or a comparable qualification.
Even more important to us is your practical experience. You know personnel administration, work carefully, and understand that not everything in HR always runs according to the textbook.
Knowledge of Abacus and Umantis is a great advantage for this role.
Additionally:
- You work independently, in a structured and reliable manner
- You can set priorities and don’t lose track even at a faster pace
- You handle sensitive personnel data professionally and discreetly
- You quickly find your way around different processes and systems
- You think ahead instead of just completing tasks
- You enjoy working in a team and are also able to advance topics independently
- You bring a genuine can-do attitude: pragmatic, solution-oriented, and straightforward
SOUNDS LIKE YOU?
You like HR administration but are at your best when you can think ahead, organise, and get stuck in?
Then we should get to know each other.
