Freytag Confiserie Café AG is a traditional confectionery with an adjoining café in Zurich Seefeld. Since 1930, we have been producing fresh baked goods, cakes, pralines and other high-quality confectionery products daily. Our company employs around 25 staff.

To complement our team, we are looking for a motivated and committed individual immediately or by arrangement as:

Pastry Chef-Confectioner EFZ (100%) or Baker-Pastry Chef 100%

Tasks

• Production of canapés, sandwiches, cakes and other high-quality pastry products
• Support in the confectionery and bakery areas as needed
• Assistance with organising daily production processes
• Creative participation in the design and development of new products and seasonal creations
• Ensuring compliance with our hygiene, quality and safety standards
• Supervision and support of our apprentices
• Ordering goods as well as checking and proper storage of raw materials
• Ensuring an efficient and smooth production process
• Close cooperation with production management and the entire team

Qualifications

• Completed training as a Pastry Chef-Confectioner EFZ or an equivalent qualification
• Several years of professional experience in pastry and confectionery
• Ideally, initial experience in a responsible or managerial role
• Trainer course advantageous or willingness to complete it
• Creativity and passion for producing high-quality pastry and confectionery products
• Independent, structured and reliable working style with a high awareness of quality
• Enjoyment in working with apprentices and passing on expertise
• Team spirit, flexibility and sense of responsibility
• Good German language skills, spoken and written
