Senior Compliance Officer, 100% (m/f/d)

Would you like to apply your regulatory expertise in a demanding, international private banking environment and make a significant contribution to compliant business operations? As part of our Regulatory and Investment Services Compliance department, you advise key interfaces of the bank on Swiss and cross-border regulatory issues. In doing so, you take on a responsible role with a special focus on the Lugano branch and work closely with specialist departments within the bank and the group.

• You accompany and implement regulatory projects in Swiss and European financial market law as a recognised expert. You work closely with Legal, Project Management, the front office, and other functions within the bank and the group.
• With your Italian language skills, you are the first point of contact for regulatory matters of the Lugano branch (excluding anti-money laundering issues).
• You are a central contact person for regulatory questions in Swiss and cross-border financial market law, especially regarding FIDLEG, MiFID, and CRD VI.
• In day-to-day business, you handle enquiries and clarifications around (cross-border) current regulatory (interpretation) questions and develop practical, risk-oriented solutions.
  

• Completed studies in law; a Swiss bar admission is an advantage.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in regulatory compliance in (private) banking.
• Fluent Italian, German, and English skills, both spoken and written.
• Experience with standard banking IT programmes is desirable.
• Strong analytical skills as well as an independent and precise working style.
• High communication and social competence in dealing with different stakeholders and management levels.
• Team-oriented personality with commitment to new challenges.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Switzerland, especially to Lugano.
