With an apprenticeship as a draftsperson at AFRY Switzerland AG, you set the course for your professional future. We offer you a varied and challenging training in the exciting world of an engineering company.

During four years, you will gain interesting insights into various specialist areas and complete your apprenticeship with a federal vocational diploma.

From August 2027, we have two apprenticeships available at our headquarters in Zurich-Altstetten:

DRAFTSPERSON SPECIALISING IN CIVIL ENGINEERING- ZURICH

During the training, you will learn, among other things, the following activities:

• Creating digital models and plans in civil engineering (including public buildings, residential houses, bridges, roads, sewers and utility lines)
• Creating digital models and plans in tunnel construction (including road and railway tunnels, galleries)
• Collaborating with civil engineers and supporting construction inspections
• Field assignments in cooperation with surveying
• Construction site internship of at least 2 weeks, earliest in the 4th semester

For the apprenticeship, you preferably bring the following profile:

• Completed compulsory schooling (Sek A or good Sek B)
• Interest/strengths in geometry, mathematics and physics
• Enjoyment of technical drawing and precise work
• Good spatial imagination
• Basic computer skills and interest in technology
