The role
As a Data Architect, you will take ownership of how data is structured, connected, and leveraged across our hearing systems.
The focus of this role is on data modeling and data design, not on building data platforms. You will define scalable data models across sensor-based devices and software systems, ensuring that data is reliable, compliant, and ready for advanced analytics and AI use cases.
In addition, you will act as a technical leader, guiding teams and stakeholders without formal line management responsibility.
More about the role
• Define and own the end-to-end data model across connected sensor-based products and software systems
• Design scalable data structures to enable advanced analytics and AI-driven use cases
• Ensure data quality, consistency, traceability and testability across the full data lifecycle
• Provide technical leadership and act as a key point of reference for data modeling and architecture topics
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data design with product, regulatory, legal and business requirements
More about you
• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or a related field
• Background in highly data-driven environments such as banking, finance, insurance or healthcare
• Extensive experience in data modeling and data architecture
• Proven experience designing data models for complex systems, ideally in IoT, sensor or connected device environments
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality and regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR, medical devices)
• Ability to lead and influence teams and stakeholders without formal disciplinary responsibility
• Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives
• Passion for data-driven innovation and enabling advanced analytics and AI
