For the further development of our foundation's communications, we are looking for a committed and experienced individual as Head of Communications.

You are responsible for the internal and external communications of the OZL Foundation and develop these strategically and operationally. You identify relevant topics, turn them into stories, and ensure that our messages reach the right people through the appropriate channels.

Head of Communications (80–100 %)

Your tasks:

• Responsibility for and further development of internal and external communications
• Responsibility for brand management
• Media relations and maintenance of relationships with media professionals
• Planning and editorial implementation of communication measures and campaigns
• Implementation and expansion of our social media strategy as well as further development of digital communication
• Writing and editing press releases, internal information, articles, and other communication materials
• Advising the management and executives on communication matters
• Communicative support of projects, events, and organisation of fundraising activities

You will be supported by a trainee media technician, especially in multimedia implementation. In the same team works the person responsible for the Supported Communication and Easy Language specialist office. You will work closely with her and further develop clear and inclusive communication.

Your profile:

You are a strong communicator who combines strategic thinking with enthusiasm for concrete implementation.
You enjoy writing and do so confidently, have a feel for people and stories, and can convey complex content clearly and succinctly.

• A degree or comparable higher education in communication, corporate communications, media, or a related field
• Several years of professional experience in corporate or organisational communications
• Experience in internal and external communications as well as media relations
• Solid knowledge of social media and digital communication
• Business management knowledge and understanding of entrepreneurial contexts
• Excellent editorial and conceptual skills
• Independent, structured, and reliable working style

Experience in the social, educational, or healthcare sector is an advantage.
