Specialist in Research Data Management and Analysis

About the job

Your main tasks will be as follows:

• Collaboratively develop Data Management Plans (DMP) and design data collection tools (REDCap or equivalent);
• Create and secure the data infrastructure according to FAIR principles and research ethics;
• Document procedures to ensure complete traceability of data from source to scientific use;
• Clean, validate and match raw data from multiple sources;
• Manage missing and outlier values, code and recode variables (including PROCODE for professions);
• Produce comprehensive codebooks and regular reports on data quality and completeness;
• Develop and maintain reproducible workflows with documented scripts (R, Stata, Python);
• Verify the consistency of study results and validate descriptive data;
• Support researchers in developing their analysis plans;
• Perform statistical analyses for projects requiring analytical support;
• Train new colleagues in best practices for research data management;
• Functionally supervise interns, research assistants and early-stage doctoral candidates;
• Deposit data and metadata in the Unisanté repository;
• Manage data access requests and prepare transfers (DTA);
• Archive documents from completed projects;

Your assets:

• University degree in epidemiology, data science, biostatistics (Master's level);
• Professional experience in data management and statistical data analysis;
• Knowledge of epidemiological study designs and good command of analytical methods applied to clinical and observational epidemiology;
• Proficiency in Stata and R (R Studio), Python, MS Excel;
• Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written, knowledge of an additional national language (German, Italian) would be an advantage;
• Excellent general organisational skills and methodological rigour;
• Willingness to learn and test new data analysis methods;
• Collaborative spirit and supportive attitude towards team members;
