Who we are
Your working environmentThe Zug Police provides security, traffic, criminal and administrative police services for the Canton of Zug and its population. The Tactical Analysis unit supports the investigative and command bodies of the Zug Police by preparing, analysing and evaluating data and information. It identifies crime patterns, trends and phenomena, produces situation reports and analyses, thereby making a significant contribution to crime fighting and prevention as well as operational support.

Tasks
- Handling tasks in the field of tactical crime analysis (monitoring serial property offences, pattern and trend recognition)
- Systematic collection, evaluation and analysis of person-, case- and fact-related information
- Visualisation of the processed analysis data
- Conducting research, classifying data including image comparisons and identifying police-relevant connections
- Producing situation and analysis reports to support criminal investigations
Requirements
- University degree in criminology or equivalent education, as well as an affinity for police analysis work
- Knowledge and experience in using Tableau, Microsoft BI advantageous
- Editorial skills as well as good presentation and communication competence
- Fluent German (spoken/written) and foreign languages advantageous (English / French)
