Hatebur is a Swiss family business founded in 1930 and is one of the world’s leading suppliers of automatic horizontal multi-stage presses for bulk forming. The group’s machines and precision tools are used by demanding customers in the automotive, rolling bearing, fastening technology, medical technology and aerospace industries.

For our international sales team, we are looking for an enthusiastic personality as an Area Sales Manager with potential:

Your tasks:

• Independent and active support of existing customers in cooperation with our branches
• Acquisition of new customers and projects in the assigned market
• Consulting, project support, processing and project tracking
• Technically prepare orders with the support of sales consulting
• Prepare customer-specific offers/quotations and negotiate them to completion
• Analyse customer needs, market observation
• Support in the creation of sales concepts and the development of customer loyalty measures
• Team support in commercial matters
• Travel activity and trade fair visits

Your profile:

• Engineer (HF/FH), university degree (Bachelor/Master) in mechanical engineering
• Many years of successful experience in selling technical solutions in the capital goods sector
• Willingness to familiarise yourself with forming technology
• Independent working, integrity
• Strong communication skills as well as confident and convincing appearance
• Good stamina and perseverance
• Very good German and solid English skills in spoken and written form, French skills an advantage
• Proficient in the use of digital tools
• Open to other cultures
• Diplomatic skills, negotiation skills and persuasiveness
• Interest and potential for succession to Sales Director
