What you can achieve with us

As a class teacher, you will work together with a motivated team under your pedagogical leadership. The 5 children in the class are blind, visually impaired, or on the autism spectrum. You will plan the grade-appropriate lessons according to the curriculum 21 and carry them out together with the team. You will be responsible for the following subjects: NMG, Mathematics, German, Sports, Swimming, ICT, Choir, and English. Individual educational and support plans will serve as the basis for your teaching.

Working days are: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday

What you bring with you

You hold an EDK-recognized diploma in school-based special education, a primary teaching certificate, or are studying for a Bachelor's in Primary Education or a Master's in School-Based Special Education. Ideally, you already have experience teaching blind or visually impaired children. You approach challenges, such as those arising from students on the autism spectrum (AS) and visual impairments, with the necessary professionalism and calm. You enjoy working with a dedicated team and contributing to a trusting and supportive atmosphere.
