To further develop our international procurement organisation, we are looking for an experienced, strong leadership and implementation-oriented personality as:

Your tasks
In this key role, you take overall responsibility for strategic and operational purchasing. Together with your team, you ensure the reliable supply of materials for our production, further develop our supplier and category strategies, and create transparent, efficient purchasing processes along our global supply chain.
You combine strategic thinking with operational proximity. You understand technical procurement markets, conduct supplier negotiations on an equal footing and ensure that costs, quality, delivery capability and risks are in the right balance.
Your main responsibilities
- Professional and personnel management as well as further development of the purchasing organisation
- Responsibility for strategic and operational purchasing of direct and indirect materials
- Development and implementation of procurement, category and supplier strategies
- Ensuring material availability for our production
- Management of costs, quality, supplier performance, risks and supply security
- Negotiation and conclusion of framework agreements as well as building long-term supplier partnerships
- Further development of purchasing processes, ERP structures, KPI reporting and purchasing controlling
- Conducting and further developing supplier evaluations
- Close cooperation with production, engineering, quality, logistics and other specialist departments
- Early involvement of purchasing in development, industrialisation and make-or-buy projects
- Promotion and development of your employees as well as active shaping of a professional purchasing organisation
Your profile
- Technical or commercial basic training with further education in purchasing, supply chain management or business administration
- Several years of leadership and purchasing experience in a manufacturing industrial company, ideally in a technical environment
- Experience in strategic and operational purchasing as well as in material planning, supplier management and contract negotiations
- Good understanding of production processes, technical contexts and industrial value creation
- Experience in an international procurement environment, ideally with suppliers in Europe and Asia
- Very good knowledge of modern ERP systems and enthusiasm for further developing efficient purchasing processes
- Very good German skills as well as good to very good English skills
