Senior Security Analyst & Team Lead (m/f/d)

Role:
In this role, you combine operational cybersecurity with professional responsibility within the team. You monitor security events, analyse incidents and continuously develop detection and security services. At the same time, you support the team leadership as co-lead and ensure reliable operations including daily and on-call shifts.
Responsibilities:
Monitoring of networks, systems, identities and cloud services to detect security incidents
Analysis of anomalies as well as development and optimisation of detection mechanisms
Handling and documentation of security incidents in daily and on-call operations
Conducting threat and vulnerability analyses and assessing new attack scenarios
Preparation of security reports and derivation of concrete improvement measures
Conducting security reviews and customer reporting
Support in vulnerability management and communication of security recommendations
Further development of existing managed security services
Support of team leadership as co-lead including shift planning and deputising
Participation in task planning, prioritisation and professional development of team members
Qualifications:
Completed training as IT specialist EFZ, ideally supplemented by further education at HF/FH level
Several years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in a SOC
Sound knowledge of networks, operating systems, identities and cloud services
Experience with Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender XDR
Good knowledge of KQL or comparable query languages
Experience in security incident response, threat monitoring and vulnerability management
Understanding of managed security services
Willingness to work 24/7 operations and on-call duties
Initial experience in leadership, coaching or professional management is an advantage
High personal responsibility, analytical strength and decisiveness
Very good German and English skills
