As part of our HR transformation, Affidea Switzerland is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to strengthen our payroll team in the HR Shared Service Center in Fribourg.

This position plays a key role in ensuring the continuity and reliability of payroll processing while actively contributing to the structuring and improvement of processes in a constantly evolving environment.

We are looking for an independent, meticulous, and solution-oriented person who can navigate complex environments, ensure data quality, and noticeably relieve the team in daily work.

Your responsibilities:

• Comprehensive handling of the monthly payroll process from preparation to finalisation.

• Regular preparation of statements for AHV, withholding tax, family allowances, accident and health insurance, as well as annual tax certificates.

• Ensuring smooth coordination with external bodies (AHV, UVG, IJM, BVG, family allowances).

• Guaranteeing the quality and reliability of data in payroll systems (SwissSalary) and managing interfaces with PEP/Mobatime.

• Supporting managers, employees, and our HRBP team with all payroll-related queries.

• Participating in projects to structure and ensure the reliability of HR data.

• Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and HR documentation.

Requirements:

• At least 10 years of experience in payroll within a Swiss environment and handling payroll for multiple companies.

• Knowledge of SwissSalary is essential; knowledge of Mobatime and PEP is advantageous.

• Solid knowledge of Swiss social insurances (AHV, BVG, UVG, ALV, IJM).

• High degree of independence and sense of responsibility.

• Confident handling of complex systems, data, and processes.

• Meticulousness, strong focus on data quality, and ensuring reliability.

• Resilience and patience in the context of an HR transformation.

• Fluent German is essential; English and French skills are advantageous.

• Certificate in Human Resources (federal HR diploma) or equivalent qualification, required in payroll or compensation management.

• Absolute discretion and a strong sense of confidentiality.
