About the job

SQTS-Swiss Quality Testing Services is part of the Migros Cooperative Union and is involved in the examination and assessment of foodstuffs and everyday articles. Operational inspections, factory acceptance tests, and consultations in the food and consumer goods sector are also included.

What you will achieve

• Chemical-analytical examination of food and food contact materials in a versatile department
• Conducting elemental analyses (ICP-MS, AAS), mycotoxin analyses (LC-MS/MS) and other analyses (LC-UV)
• Operation, maintenance, care and testing of analytical equipment in a modern, ISO 17025 accredited laboratory
• Operation of our LIMS system and the programmes for controlling and evaluating the analyses

What you bring

• Education: Completed vocational training (EFZ)
• Specialisation: as a Chemical Laboratory Technician (EFZ) or comparable training
• Professional experience: Experience in food analysis is an advantage
• Organised, precise and efficient working method
• Teamwork and independence
• Enjoy working with IT systems and good knowledge of MS Office applications
• German (C1)
