Your Tasks
- Design, development, qualification and certification of mechanical components and systems to meet FAR/EASA-CS Part 23 regulations
- Take responsibility of one or more mechanical systems across the full product lifecycle of Pilatus trainer aircraft
- Provide technical support through reporting, investigations, in-service issue resolution, and timely responses to technical queries
- Manage technical interfaces with external suppliers and oversee the integration of systems and equipment
- Plan and execute aircraft ground testing activities and support flight test campaigns
- Collaborate closely with production teams to ensure efficient manufacturing, troubleshooting, and continuous product improvement
With this you convince us
- University degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification
- Minimum five years of experience in aerospace mechanical systems within a development, integration and certification environment, with expertise in at least one mechanical engineering discipline
- Strong knowledge of aerospace certification standards and processes, including RTCA DO-160 and DO-254, as well as requirements development, validation and traceability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in an international environment; fluent English is essential, with German considered an advantage
- Highly organized, proactive, and collaborative professional with the ability to manage multiple priorities, take ownership of tasks, and deliver results under pressure
- Proven project and supplier management capabilities, including the ability to lead complex engineering programs, coordinate global supply chains and provide technical leadership across cross-functional teams
