What to expect
- You support the implementation and further development of measures in the areas of ASGS
- You participate in safety inspections, hazard assessments and risk evaluations
- You assist in the control, documentation and follow-up of safety measures and safety equipment
- You help analyse incidents and evaluate safety indicators
- You work on projects related to ASGS, prevention and fire protection
- You support the creation and updating of documentation, instructions, concepts and training materials
- You collaborate with various departments and get to know the diverse working environments of SOB
- You gradually take responsibility for your own tasks and sub-projects and actively contribute your ideas
What you bring
- Basic training in the field of ASGS (e.g. Safety Assistant ASGS) or a comparable qualification
- Ongoing or recently completed studies, for example in Facility Management, Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Industrial Engineering, Health Promotion and Prevention or a comparable field
- Knowledge of fire protection is an advantage
- Motivation to develop professionally and to eventually complete further training as a Specialist ASGS with a federal certificate
- Structured, independent and reliable working style
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment in working with different stakeholders
- Good MS Office skills as well as very good German language skills, both written and spoken
- Willingness for regular assignments at our locations in St. Gallen, Herisau and Samstagern

With a minimum employment level of 40%, you travel free of charge on public transport in 2nd class. Your relatives benefit from discounts when purchasing a GA. At SOB, you work 41 hours per week with a 100% workload. You receive at least five weeks of holiday per year. With the bandwidth model, you can take additional days off.
Would you like more than five weeks of holiday? We offer the possibility of the bandwidth model. For 2% of your annual salary, you receive five additional days off credited, for 4% ten additional days off credited. The same applies in reverse: you can forego days off and receive more salary instead.
Do public holidays fall on a weekend? At SOB, these days are credited to you.
