Senior BI Engineer F/H/X

Job description

In the "business intelligence sector" environment, the mission is to design, implement, and deploy decision-making solutions through standard industry tools (on-premise) in response to requests received from project managers or clients.

Integrated into a team of about ten people, the engineer will be responsible for:
1. Estimating, analyzing, designing, implementing, and maintaining the decision-making solutions established by the sector on BI platforms to ensure results meet the specified requirements (quality, performance, deadlines, and security)
2. In collaboration with project managers, business analysts, and service managers, being a driving force for the implementation of agile cycles for the realization of new BI solutions, and specifying all requests for the integration of useful data for this approach.
3. Understanding and supporting requesters to provide them with data that best meets their needs.
4. Occasionally participating in activities such as handling incidents or implementing PowerBI changes.

Training :
Technical certification(s) (PowerBI / QlikSense)

Desired skills :
▪ Mastery of data processing techniques and data loading, data model design, and visual realization (on premise: PowerBI - SSRS – SSAS and excellent knowledge of principles and modeling types such as data warehouse)
▪ Mastery of data access security mechanisms
▪ Mastery of SQL (on at least one of the following databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and other data manipulation and querying techniques
▪ Experience in supporting users to set up dashboards that best meet their needs
▪ Excellent knowledge of BI engineering activities
▪ Experience in BI migration projects and conducting unit tests
▪ Experience in conducting and performing performance analyses
▪ Experience with QlikSense loading scripts
▪ Knowledge of ITIL best practices and project management (HERMES/agile)
