Our client amitola is a non-profit institution in Neuendorf (SO) ( www.amitola.ch ). Over 40 employees are dedicated to children and adolescents aged between 0 – 18 years. In the context of succession planning, we are looking for an experienced psychologist specialising in youth and child psychology to lead the psychological department.

Your future function and role

As the psychological lead, you will assume psychological responsibility and manage the group leaders. You report directly to the head of the institution and act as their deputy.

• Psychological leadership
• Direct managerial responsibility for group leaders
• Deputising for the head of the institution during their absence
• Participation in all site meetings with the child/parents/cantonal authorities
• Contact person for authorities, specialist offices, and other partners
• Ensuring ongoing development and quality standards

Our expectations

For this demanding role, you have the appropriate training and professional experience as a psychologist working with children and adolescents.

• MAS in Psychology (applied psychology with children and adolescents) or equivalent
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with children and adolescents
• Fluent German language skills
• High degree of personal responsibility, team and decision-making skills
• You are warm, empathetic, and very reliable
• High resilience and personal stability
• Willingness to provide support in exceptional cases at night/weekends
