We are looking for a strong-charactered, dynamic, and entrepreneurial-minded personality by arrangement as: 

Director of Operations (m/f) 100%

Your tasks:

As Director of Operations, you coordinate the entire operational business of Hotel ASTORIA together with our Hotel Manager and Director of F&B.

You report directly to the General Manager and work closely with him. You are not just an additional hierarchical level but the central operational interface between the hotel, food & beverage, employees, and management.

You are where the action happens. You recognise where there are bottlenecks, set priorities, and ensure together with the responsible managers that solutions are not only discussed but implemented.

- Coordination of the entire operational day-to-day business across hotel and F&B

- Close cooperation with the General Manager, Hotel Manager, and Director of F&B

- Ensuring smooth processes in all operational areas

- Presence in the operation and active support of the management

- Identifying weaknesses and consistently improving processes

- Ensuring our quality and service standards

- Handling and active leadership in demanding operational situations

- Promoting direct, uncomplicated, and solution-oriented collaboration

- Representing the General Manager in all operational matters

- You are both host and doer.

Our requirements:

You have several years of leadership experience in upscale hospitality and know hotel operations not only from meetings and reports. You understand rooms as well as food & beverage and feel comfortable where things are happening.

You have the personality to coordinate experienced managers at eye level, bring different interests together, and implement decisions consistently.

You are present, resilient, clear in your communication, and have a good sense for people.

Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written, are a prerequisite. 

And above all: you enjoy the operation.
