You ensure that modern print systems run smoothly – technically skilled, independent and close to the customer.

As a Field Service Engineer, you support multifunctional print systems in the Bern, Solothurn and Basel regions. You install, maintain and repair devices directly at the customer’s site, integrate them into existing IT networks and ensure optimal operation. With your technical know-how, you competently support customers and actively contribute to the quality and further development of our services. For this position, residence in the Solothurn area is required to ensure short response times and efficient deployment planning.

Responsibilities

• You maintain and repair multifunctional digital print systems directly at the customer’s site
• You install new systems and integrate them into existing IT and network environments
• You analyse faults, resolve them sustainably and ensure smooth operation
• You train customers in operation, maintenance and optimal use of the systems
• You create digital service reports and document technical solutions
• You work closely with support, internal specialist departments and your supervisor
• You continuously develop your technical know-how and contribute to quality and process optimisations

Qualifications

• Technical training (electrical, polymechanical or comparable)
• Good PC and network knowledge as well as confidence in IT environments
• Experience in the technical service environment, ideally in print/output management
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
• Customer-oriented, professional demeanour
• Very good German and good English skills (additional national language an advantage)
• Regional flexibility and willingness to travel
• Motivation for professional development (hardware, systems, colour management)
• Driving licence category B
