Technical Buyer Mechanical Engineering 80-100% (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF95,000 - 105,000Responsibilities:
You coordinate orders from requirements determination to complete delivery.
You monitor delivery dates and initiate appropriate measures in case of delays.
You check technical documents and drawing revisions before ordering.
You evaluate new suppliers and negotiate prices, conditions, and delivery times.
In case of quality deviations, you coordinate clarification with suppliers and internal departments.
You identify material shortages early and organise alternative solutions.
You independently manage purchasing projects such as supplier changes or series launches.
You keep item and order data complete and up to date in the ERP system.
Qualifications:
Experience in technical purchasing, preferably in mechanical, plant, or vehicle engineering.
Good knowledge of reading technical drawings and understanding manufacturing processes.
Confident negotiation skills with a focus on total costs and delivery conditions.
Proficient use of ERP systems and Excel.
Independent working style with a strong sense of responsibility.
Interest in AI and automation, including prompt creation and simple adjustments.
Practical experience is more important than a specific number of years or seniority level.
Very good German skills as well as good English skills.
