- Permanent position
- German (Fluent), English (Fluent)
About the job
You don’t sell square metres. You sell hospitality.
The SHED in Zug is, on 1,500 m² in a former industrial hall, something rarely found elsewhere: a public restaurant, wine shop, event location and a members club with its own restaurant, bar and cigar lounge – all under one roof.
To make this place even better known and busier, we are looking for you.
Would you like to become part of a dynamic team and advance your career?
We are looking for a motivated Sales Executive Events & Membership (m/f/d) 80-100% who shares our vision with passion and commitment. Workplace 6300 Zug. Start immediately or by arrangement.
Your tasks
- You actively sell events and occasions to corporate and private clients, from business lunches to corporate events.
- You market our event location and the public restaurant specifically to non-members as well, thus generating new revenue.
- You acquire new members and expand our network.
- You look after our existing corporate clients and develop them further.
- You are responsible for both pillars: corporate events and meetings as well as private celebrations such as weddings, birthdays or anniversaries.
- You are present at trade fairs and networking events and personally guide interested parties through the house.
- You monitor the market, derive measures and learn about budgeting and the annual sales plan to understand how the numbers behind the business work.
- About 20% of your time is dedicated to marketing: social media, newsletters and website.
What you bring
- Experience in gastronomy, hospitality or events.
- A desire to sell: you approach people, pick up the phone and follow up persistently.
- A sense of hospitality. You know how an evening succeeds because you have hosted guests yourself.
- Enjoyment of cuisine, wine and indulgence. You sell more credibly if you like the product yourself.
- Independent, structured working style and joy in exceeding goals rather than just meeting them.
- Confident German, good English and a confident demeanour.
- Willingness for occasional evening and weekend shifts when events are taking place.
What we offer
- A house with character instead of a generic seminar hotel.
- Own customer responsibility from day one.
- Short lines of communication, you work directly with the Managing Director and have a say in decisions.
- A real perspective: those who deliver grow into the role of Sales & Marketing Manager.
- Lots of creative freedom, a workload of 80–100% and the workplace right in the centre of Zug.
- A team that enjoys working and even more so eating together.
