We are looking for a responsible individual for the professional and personnel management of our catering team

• Overall responsibility for the organisation and management of catering at the Embrach site
• Leadership, promotion and deployment planning of catering staff
• Ensuring high-quality, economical and timely meal production
• Responsibility for hygiene, quality assurance and compliance with legal requirements
• Budget and cost centre responsibility including control of goods flow and inventory management
• Further development of the offering in collaboration with the Gastronomy Management

• Completed training as a federally certified head chef or as a cook with further training in residential, dietetic or community catering or in personnel management
• Several years of professional experience, ideally in hospital or community catering
• Leadership experience as well as a clear and structured working method
• Economic thinking and organisational skills
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form as well as PC user skills
• Experience in modern production techniques and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration

The KZU, with its two in-house day nurseries, operates two care centres in Bassersdorf and Embrach as well as three care apartments in Nürensdorf and Winkel. It primarily offers a home to elderly, care-dependent people and, alongside various specialised services, a wide range of outpatient services. The KZU employs around 600 staff, including 75 apprentices and students in 17 different professional groups.
