About the job

The Zurich Disabled Transport Foundation (BTZ) is a transport service for people with mobility impairments based in the city of Zurich.

To complement our team, we are looking for an immediate or agreed start for a

Dispatcher (40%) with Additional Driving Duties (40%)Responsibilities

• Receiving and recording transport requests
• Coordinating and assigning trips to our drivers
• Ongoing communication with the driving staff
• Monitoring vehicle availability and deployment planning
• Customer support for enquiries, special requests or complaints
• Documentation of trips and data maintenance in the system
• Driving duties with up to three passengers in wheelchairs

Requirements

• Experience in dispatch, customer service or a comparable field
• Good geographical knowledge of the city and region of Zurich
• Very good German language skills, spoken and written
• Forward-looking and structured working method
• Strong communication skills, organisational talent and resilience to stress
• Reliability, sense of responsibility and empathy
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Friendly demeanour and service-oriented thinking
• Driving licence category B
