Specialist Export & Customs 100% (m/f/d)
Our client is an established technology company with Swiss roots and an international orientation. The company develops and produces technically sophisticated systems for the reliable energy supply of critical plants and infrastructures. Modern technologies, high safety requirements and international projects ensure a varied working environment.
Responsibilities:
Professional handling of international import and export processes via various transport routes
Responsibility for customs procedures and clearances via Passar
Professional support of ATA and eATA carnets for temporary goods movements
Assessment of requirements from export control, sanctions and trade compliance
Creation and review of origin, shipping and commercial documents
Coordination of freight forwarders, transport service providers and other logistics partners
Professional review of dangerous goods, battery and safety requirements
Further development of transport, customs and logistics processes regarding quality and costs
Qualifications:
Commercial apprenticeship with further training in foreign trade, customs, logistics or forwarding
Several years of professional experience in international goods traffic
Sound knowledge of customs clearance, Incoterms and export processes
Practical knowledge in export control, sanctions and international trade regulations
Good knowledge of tariff classification, goods origin and preference procedures
Experience with SAP S/4HANA and common customs or ERP systems
Independent working style with pronounced professional responsibility and prioritisation skills
Very good German as well as good English in spoken and written form
