About the job
Activities- Assuming the responsibilities and duties of the head chef in their absence
- Co-responsible for an orderly daily operation and adherence to operational processes as well as prescribed procedures
- Implementing the instructions of the head chef as well as the management, care, and SEM (BEKO), ensuring balanced nutrition
- Controlling hygiene and safety regulations according to HACCP.
- Checking work-related standards and values as well as the use of the correct work equipment
- Co-responsible for correct ordering and storage of goods. Contact person in the absence of the head chef for suppliers and food control authorities
- Participating in regular team meetings. Active work and effective contribution in the kitchen team
Requirements
- Secondary level II: Federal VET Diploma (EFZ)
- 4 to 6 years of relevant professional experience
- 3 years of leadership experience (advantageous)
- Experience in work pedagogy
- Calmness in dealing with difficult situations and openness to different cultures
- HACCP theory and practical implementation
- First aid training
- Basic and user knowledge of MS Office applications
- Impeccable reputation (no entries in debt enforcement and criminal records)
- German | spoken: B2 | written: B2
- French | spoken: B1 | written: B1 (advantageous)
- English | spoken: B1 | written: B1
