Microsoft Sentinel Consultant - (m,f,d) - Azure / Security 40 - 80%Project / Role: For a long-term project, we are looking for an experienced Microsoft Sentinel Consultant (Azure Security). The focus is on consulting for the design and further development of a security logging and monitoring architecture based on Microsoft Sentinel. The person works closely with the responsible security, SOC, and engineering teams.
Main tasks:
* Consulting on the design and further development of the Azure security logging and monitoring architecture
* Definition of logging requirements, relevant data sources, and integration specifications
* Translation of detection use cases and SOC requirements into clear technical specifications
* Creation of guidelines for engineering and implementation teams
* Review and validation of implementations in Microsoft Sentinel
* Ensuring compliance with defined requirements and best practices
Requirements:
* At least three years of experience in security logging and monitoring in Azure environments
* Solid practical experience with Microsoft Sentinel
* Experience in defining logging requirements, data sources, and integrations
* Good understanding of SOC processes and detection use cases
* Ability to translate security requirements into technical specifications
* Experience in reviewing and validating technical implementations
* Good consulting and communication skills
Languages:
* German - fluent in spoken and written (at least C1)
