Event Technician specialising in Lighting

Tasks

• You will oversee the lighting technical process of co-productions and guest performances.
• You are responsible for setting up and programming the lighting.
• You will supervise the performances and operate the shows.
• You will inspect, maintain, service and store lighting equipment.
• You are responsible for the assembly and dismantling of stage decorations.
• You ensure compliance with legal requirements at events.

Profile

• Completed training and/or professional experience as an event technician or comparable training/professional experience
• Very good knowledge of lighting systems, experience with moving lights desired
• Experience programming lighting consoles (MA3 advantageous)
• Basic knowledge of sound and video technology (experience with QLab or other DAW programmes desired)
• Knowledge of network technology
• Willingness to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends

About us

With us, you do what you are passionate about: You accompany and supervise the entire technical process of co-productions and guest performances – from rehearsals to dismantling.
The Theater am Hechtplatz was opened in 1959 and presents small-scale art in all its forms. Theatre, cabaret, comedies, musicals and offerings for young audiences are part of the programme.
The listed premises of the theatre will be renovated until February 2027. During this time, theatre operations will continue in an external temporary venue (Haus Seefeld).
