Role:

Good finance and payroll processes are hardly noticeable in everyday life because they simply run smoothly. This is exactly what you ensure as an Abacus Consultant Finance & Payroll at small and medium-sized enterprises. With Abacus, you design solutions in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) that sensibly connect accounting, human resources, and payroll. You operate between business administration and technology and take on projects with a great deal of personal responsibility.

Responsibilities:

• You analyse your clients’ business processes, gather requirements, and develop viable concepts from them

• You review existing installations and optimise configurations, workflows, and approval processes

• You design and configure applications for financial accounting including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cost accounting as well as for payroll processing

• Furthermore, you manage implementation and optimisation projects and take on testing, acceptance, and go-live activities

• In addition, you accompany the data migration of master and transaction data and integrate the platform into existing system landscapes

• You also automate recurring processes and deploy new functions purposefully for the further development of customer solutions

Qualifications:

• You have at least 3 years of professional experience in ERP consulting, fiduciary services, or a comparable role

• You are familiar with the Abacus applications related to finance and/or human resources and payroll from your own practice

• Configuration and parametrisation of ERP processes are part of your skill set; your own implementations are a clear plus

• You think commercially and understand payment transactions, cost accounting, and HR processes in conjunction with third-party systems

• Ideally, you also have practical experience with interfaces, system integrations, and workflow automation

• Moreover, you approach complex issues in a structured and independent manner and have business fluent German skills, both spoken and written
