IT Network Engineer (m/f/d)
Responsibilities:
You operate and further develop the cross-site LAN, WAN and WLAN infrastructure
You configure firewalls, switches, access points as well as site-to-site and remote-access VPNs
You ensure the segmentation of IT and OT environments and integrate cloud and hybrid environments
You analyse and resolve network faults and implement infrastructure projects such as SD-WAN and network modernisation
You coordinate providers, partners and manufacturers, support the service desk and share your know-how within the team
Qualifications:
You have an IT education or a comparable qualification and several years of experience in network operations or system engineering
You possess sound knowledge in routing, switching, firewalling, WLAN, TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP
You have experience with VPN, VLAN as well as IT security and ideally with OT/industrial networks
Knowledge of SD-WAN, network monitoring, network automation and Azure networking is an advantage
You have very good German as well as good English skills
