Your tasks
- Leading and coordinating audit teams for final and financial supervisory audits
- Managing the entire audit process
- Evaluating and auditing processes, internal control systems, accounting, and budget execution at cantonal institutions (e.g. taxes, universities, construction, clinics, police, justice and more)
- Ensuring deadlines are met, audit objectives achieved, and quality maintained, including monitoring audit-related controlling
- Creating added value and assurance with professional audit opinions/reports
Your profile
- Qualification as a certified auditor or CIA – or nearing completion
- Experience in external auditing
- Dynamic personality with strong analytical, conceptual and business thinking skills combined with high social competence
- Independent working style, high quality awareness
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration with IT and construction auditors as well as lawyers

About the Financial Control
Do you know us? The Financial Control is the supreme specialist body for financial supervision. As a competent and reliable partner of parliament, government, administration and justice, the aim of the Financial Control together with around 20 specialists is to create added value as well as security and trust. As an independent auditor, the Financial Control audits, among other things, the annual accounts of the canton with a balance sheet total of around CHF 12 billion. The financial supervision of the Financial Control includes auditing the regularity and legality as well as the economy of budget execution and, in connection with subsidies, the appropriateness of the use of funds.
