Cloud Platform Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
In this role as a Cloud Engineer, you actively shape change and bring your ideas in a structured way into complex cloud environments. You apply your solid expertise and experience to realise solutions of high quality and continuously improve them. With great passion, you commit yourself to your topics and work closely with others to achieve sustainable results. You always keep an overview and reliably drive projects forward. In this position, you fulfil your vocation by taking responsibility and creating real added value.
Responsibilities:
You further develop and operate the CMI Cloud platform
In this role, you administer Windows and Linux servers as well as container workloads
As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you build, operate, and optimise network and database infrastructures
You implement infrastructure as code with Terraform and automate CI/CD-supported deployments
In this role, you establish and improve monitoring, logging, observability, and security measures
As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you work closely with product development and operations and take end-to-end responsibility for platform topics
Qualifications:
You have a higher professional education in computer science (ETH, UNI, FH) or a comparable track record
You have several years of practical experience in building and operating cloud infrastructure with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
You work routinely with infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, and Git as a natural working basis
You automate tasks with PowerShell, Bash, or Python and feel at home on both Windows and Linux systems
You have knowledge of C# and the .NET environment and make minor adjustments to existing components yourself
You bring practical knowledge of observability (e.g. Grafana, Prometheus, Loki) and can draw the right conclusions from metrics and logs
Fluent in German
