Our Team
As an Operations Business Analyst (m/f/d) with a project management focus, 80–100% in the Operational Risk & Functional Management group, you will drive the optimisation of our operations at the UBS Card Centre, from production control through automation to data-driven management decisions. You will work closely with Operations Management as well as Sales, Product, Risk, Compliance and Technology, making a direct contribution to the efficiency and quality of our credit card business.

The Role

• You will accompany and (co-)lead strategic and operational projects focusing on efficiency improvements, production control and process enhancements within the Operations department
• You will drive automation and digitalisation initiatives forward and optimise IT-supported processes together with business units and IT
• You will use data and reports to support management decisions, develop meaningful analyses and take on a superuser role for reporting tools within the Operations department
• You will work as an operations interface closely with other operations units and support business needs with data and analyses
• You will identify improvement potentials in processes and systems and implement measures in close collaboration with management to achieve defined targets
• You will plan and manage your projects and work packages, handle milestones, risks, dependencies and stakeholder communication, and maintain an overview of priorities even in a dynamic environment

• Completed studies in business informatics, business administration or a comparable technical/quantitative field
• Several years of professional experience as a business analyst or in a similar role with a focus on processes, data and reporting
• Experience working with databases, data analyses and reporting as well as handling datasets to support decisions
• Good knowledge of Tableau or Power BI as well as SQL, Confluence and Jira
• Strong analytical and problem-solving thinking: You can structure complex, sometimes still unclear issues and translate them into actionable insights and requirements
• Collaboration & working style: You work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels, build trusting relationships and remain focused, flexible and constructive even with multiple parallel tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment
• Fluent German skills and good English skills in spoken and written form

• Experience in operations environments (e.g. payment transactions, card processes, back-office control)
• Experience in the introduction or further development of production control tools (e.g. capacity planning, monitoring, KPI dashboards)
• Solid project management experience, ideally in interdisciplinary projects
• Visionary mindset and passion for innovation and modern technologies – especially for the use of AI and GenAI in data and workflow contexts
• Curiosity about how AI can help build, deliver and optimise workflows – combined with sound judgement, i.e. you validate results and ensure they comply with policies, risk standards and principles of ethical use
• Interest in digitalisation, automation and process management as well as working at the interface between business and IT
