CATEGORY MANAGER

These are your tasks

• Procurement of individual components and assemblies
• Execution of the procurement process (requirements and procurement market analysis, tendering, negotiation, awarding, supplier selection with contract conclusion)
• Participation in the creation of supplier and product group strategies and their implementation
• Participation in the qualification of suppliers
• Participation in supplier audits
• Active supplier management as Lead Buyer
• Contract negotiations with suppliers

What you bring with you

• Technical basic training with appropriate further education in purchasing
• Preferably experience in vehicle and/or plant construction
• Proven experience in supplier management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as good negotiation skills
• Very good negotiation and contract-secure language skills in German and English
• Confident handling of SAP ERP system and MS Office
• Willingness to travel internationally for business
