Would you like to be at the forefront of guest service?

At the Best Western Hotel Bellevue au Lac, the reception is the alpha & omega of all activity. The first and last contacts of the guests go through this position. The FRONT DESK is in direct contact with our guests, the BACK OFFICE handles the various requests behind the scenes.

Tasks

Our reception staff work at the Front Desk and Back Office.

Contacts with potential guests and regular customers until the arrival at the hotel by phone, email

• Answering inquiries & providing information of all kinds,
• Sales of our special offers and our hotel
• Check-in, operation of the electronic platform for customer management
• Introducing guests to our beautiful rooms, the
• restaurants, the swimming pool and the secrets of the hotel that should make every stay unforgettable
• Check-out:
• Billing, collection, survey about the stay, farewell

Requirements

We are looking for an upbeat, optimistic, communicative young personality with the following additional qualities:

° Solid basic training with a focus on hospitality

° Several years of experience in a first-class hotel in Switzerland at the reception

° Swiss citizen or holder of a C permit

° Cheerful, natural charisma with the ability to respond to the needs of demanding customers

° Team player, loyalty towards superiors and colleagues

° Flexibility, precision and love of order at the workplace

° Ability to accept criticism and learn and to keep a cool head even in hectic situations (in addition to the air conditioning!)

Languages

• Italian and German spoken and written (ideally bilingual: I/D or D/I
• Very good knowledge of English
• Good knowledge of French
• Other languages are an advantage (e.g. Spanish, Arabic)
