Eich and Sempach, with just over 4000 Catholics, are two vibrant parishes that operate as a tandem in the Pastoral Area Upper Sempachersee. Children and young people attend denominational religious education in Sempach City, Sempach Station, and Eich. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a religious education teacher 50% - 60% starting August 1, 2026, or by arrangement. You will teach religious education in the 1st and 3rd grades. In the 3rd school year, the focus is on preparing and conducting the First Communion. This also includes extracurricular activities and work with parents. In addition, you will help organize special services as part of the preparation for the First Communion. Depending on your interests and skills, you will participate in parish projects or events for families and children. You have the opportunity to contribute your experiences and ideas to the catechesis team. You have completed training: KIL, RPI, ForModula, or an equivalent qualification. You enjoy exploring new and creative ways in religious education. Equally important to us is a grounded spirituality. We are looking for an open personality who enjoys working with children and adults and understands relationships as a central part of church work.
