Contaminated Sites Specialist (m/f/d)
at the Office for the Environment from 1 March 2027 or by arrangement- Taking on area responsibility in the field of contaminated sites
- Assessment of site contamination and the associated support of investigation, monitoring, and remediation measures as well as updating the register of contaminated sites
- Independent management of projects in specific contaminated sites areas (e.g. shooting ranges, CKW sites, PFAS sites, old deposits, playgrounds, etc.)
- Assessment of building applications on contaminated sites and advising landowners and municipalities
- Sound knowledge in contaminated site management
- University or university of applied sciences degree in geology or environmental engineering or an equivalent qualification
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- High communication and social skills in dealing with different stakeholders
- Confidence in using digital tools and openness to new technologies
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
- Very good German language skills, both spoken and written
